"..back to Manhattan as if nothin' ever happened." Really?

Could the corruption and purification in a city (in a family, or in a Land etc) be slowed down? What's the ultimate Solution for this people, for this wonderful city, and for our nation?

It's Christ and His good plan

"You are the salt of the earth."—Matthew 5:13

Bottomline: Salt preserves what's good are we are to live salty in Christ. All of us. Can God use us in love to preserve what is good in our world.. buying some time to share His Message? Sure He can.

The Bible says, "The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.  But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up." 2 Peter 3:9-10 kjv

Listen, as our cities seem to be going to hell in a handbasket (whatever the handbasket means..) we each can live free and be a part of the Solution, rather than part of the problem.

You and I might not be able to stop or reverse the rotting and putrification processes happening around us, but we can live salty and slow it down.. so that others will have some time to get right with the Lord.

What did Jesus mean when He described His followers as the salt of the earth?

Why are we told to “let your words be seasoned with salt?

Why was Lot's wife turned into a pillar of salt of all things?

How can a Christian overcome the fear of witnessing by a decent life, by a good attitude and with words?

How is the fear of man a real snare to avoid (Proverbs 29:25)?

There is of course a fear that's unhealthy to have. What does the Bible mean when it tells us.. do not fear?

What is the meaning of “perfect love casts out fear” (1 John 4:18)?

What did Jesus mean when He said, “No one can snatch them out of my Father’s hand” (John 10:29)?

What does it mean to “remember Lot's wife” in Luke 17:32?

How does fearing God add length to a person's life (Proverbs 10:27

How can I overcome the fear of death? How can I stop being scared?

What does it mean to have the fear of God?

What does it mean to be seasoned with salt (Mark 9:49)?

It is high time for Christians to be all in, prayerful, gracious, on-fire spiritually and just stand up against the rushing influx, this rising tide of crimes and unrighteousness that threatens to engulf our entire country. It's not just been happening in New York City and San Francisco. It'll soon be in a neighborhood near you if it isn't already.

Jesus is still sovereign and on the throne -- He is still committed to saving people here from the coming fair judgment of God the Father. So our mission is to live in Christ real salty. With Him, following real close.

You know that salt brings life to nothing really. You and I can save no one, but we can live the life and clearly witness.

Basically, all salt can do is buy a little more time for Christians to share the gospel.

We can preserve things for a bit longer so more can hear and grasp hold. We can reflect the light of the Lord with His gospel in this ever-increasingly dark world around us.

Think about it. In heaven the culture war will finally be won, but before that will our lost loved ones we won.. to Jesus? We want them to join with us.

You can probably tell, that right now there is a war heating up. It's been going on between God and the people of this world.. and Mr. Lu-Cifer (a.k.a. Satan). The evil have been getting way more evil.

Though there has been much for us to see here, it's basically a war going on in the unseen around us and that's why we need to pray more earnestly than ever before.. not for show out in the seen world like the Pharisees did. Go get alone with the Lord to pray and then pray all through the day without making a religious display out of it. That's what biblical warfare is to be all about -- connecting with God who cares about people!

What does the Bible really say about spiritual warfare?

Do we need to be aware of the spiritual battle that is taking place? Uhh, yes.

I don't want to get all spooky, weird or religious, so how interested are Christians really supposed to be in the spirit world around them?

What is spiritual warfare? What are the keys to victory in spiritual warfare?

What does it mean that we do not fight against flesh and blood?

What does it mean that the weapons of our warfare are not carnal?

Hey, I have some more questions about Spiritual Warfare.

What can I do when my nation, my friends, or I come under spiritual attack?

No worries, we aren't to be out screening at the heavens, cursing at "generational curses" or doing spiritual mapping (that hogwash and a religious waste of time).

What even is spiritual mapping?

Spiritual strongholds, Man, what is the correct biblical view of all this?

The war has to do with the eternal soul of every human being still sucking air. Mr. Lu-Cifer's goal (I mean the devil with a third of the angels who rebelled and fell along with him) in this very real war is clear. He seeks to deceive as many as possible and destroy them.

What does it mean that the thief comes only to stealkill, and destroy in John 10:10?

What are some Bible verses about Satan?

What does it mean to resist the devil, and why will resistance cause?

In 2 Corinthians 4:3-4 Paul says, “And even if our gospel is veiled; it is veiled to those who are perishing, in whose case the god of this world has blinded the minds of the unbelieving so that they might not see the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God.”

Why waste time trying to reform the unregenerate without sharing the gospel message with them?

Curing short-term social ills must never take precedence over our primary main mission talking about Jesus and preaching the Word.

You can walk balanced. Sure, you can find that balance between being salt—pushing back against unrighteousness—and being the light that God commanded us believers to be.

There is a tide of evil rising up that is about to engulf our nation, but we can be wise.

If we sit on the sidelines and do zip, we are not only ensuring more breakdown and collapse of our great nation. It is time for the church of Jesus Christ to go fish for souls just as Christ teaches us to.

Perhaps you first need to pause to make sure that you are right with God. Repent and believe in Jesus, start a relationship with Him today. In your own words simply confess asking Him to forgive you of your sins, and by faith (not feelings) invite Him to live on the inside of you.

Matthew 15:19 - For out of the heart proceed evil thoughts, murders, adulteries, fornications, thefts, false witness, blasphemies.

Ephesians 4:28 -Let him who stole steal no longer, but rather let him labor, working with his hands what is good, that he may have something to give him who has need.

Exodus 20:15 -You shall not steal.

Exodus 20:17 - You shall not covet your neighbor's house; you shall not covet your neighbor's wife, nor his male servant, nor his female servant, nor his ox, nor his donkey, nor anything that is your neighbor's.

Does crime and a cashless society have anything to do with the end times?

I ain't going to set a date, but what does the Bible mean when it refers to the end of the age?

What is a thought crime? Is there such a thing?

What does the Bible say about all this real vandalism?

What can all these real crimes teach us about the truth of the Bible?

What signs indicate that the end of these end times ..are quickly approaching?

What does the Bible say about all these violent and stealing gangs? The elderly and women on the streets are getting clocked in their faces!

We have several being funded right now - what does it mean that there will be wars and rumors of wars before the end arrives?

Why is every sin ultimately a sin against God?

What does it mean that God gives us life more abundantly (John 10

Why did God mandate capital punishment for murder (Genesis 9:6)?

What did Jesus mean when He said, “this generation will not pass.."?

Deuteronomy 5:19 - You shall not steal.

Hosea 4:1-3 - Hear the word of the LORD,
You children of Israel,
For the LORD brings a charge against the inhabitants of the land:
"There is no truth or mercy
Or knowledge of God in the land.
By swearing and lying,
Killing and stealing and committing adultery,
They break all restraint,
With bloodshed upon bloodshed.
Therefore the land will mourn;
And everyone who dwells there will waste away
With the beasts of the field
And the birds of the air;
Even the fish of the sea will be taken away.

Micah 6:10-12 - Are there yet the treasures of wickedness
In the house of the wicked,
And the short measure that is an abomination?
Shall I count pure those with the wicked scales,
And with the bag of deceitful weights?
For her rich men are full of violence,
Her inhabitants have spoken lies,
And their tongue is deceitful in their mouth.

Genesis 6:5-7 - Then the LORD saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every intent of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually. And the LORD was sorry that He had made man on the earth, and He was grieved in His heart. So the LORD said, 'I will destroy man whom I have created from the face of the earth, both man and beast, creeping thing and birds of the air, for I am sorry that I have made them.'

Exodus 21:12-14 - “He who strikes a man so that he dies shall surely be put to death. However, if he did not lie in wait, but God delivered him into his hand, then I will appoint for you a place where he may flee. “But if a man acts with premeditation against his neighbor, to kill him by treachery, you shall take him from My altar, that he may die.

Deuteronomy 19:15-19 - “One witness shall not rise against a man concerning any iniquity or any sin that he commits; by the mouth of two or three witnesses the matter shall be established. If a false witness rises against any man to testify against him of wrongdoing, then both men in the controversy shall stand before the LORD, before the priests and the judges who serve in those days. And the judges shall make careful inquiry, and indeed, if the witness is a false witness, who has testified falsely against his brother, then you shall do to him as he thought to have done to his brother; so you shall put away the evil from among you.

Deuteronomy 25:16 - For all who do such things, all who behave unrighteously, are an abomination to the LORD your God.

Ecclesiastes 8:11 - Because the sentence against an evil work is not executed speedily, therefore the heart of the sons of men is fully set in them to do evil.

Isaiah 59:1-3 - Behold, the LORD's hand is not shortened,
That it cannot save;
Nor His ear heavy,
That it cannot hear.
But your iniquities have separated you from your God;
And your sins have hidden His face from you,
So that He will not hear.
For your hands are defiled with blood,
And your fingers with iniquity;
Your lips have spoken lies,
Your tongue has muttered perversity.

Jeremiah 6:10 - To whom shall I speak and give warning,
That they may hear?
Indeed their ear is uncircumcised,
And they cannot give heed.
Behold, the word of the LORD is a reproach to them;
They have no delight in it.

Amos 8:5-7 Saying: "When will the New Moon be past,
That we may sell grain?
And the Sabbath,
That we may trade wheat?
Making the ephah small and the shekel large,
falsifying the scales by deceit,
That we may buy the poor for silver,
And the needy for a pair of sandals—
Even sell the bad wheat?"
The LORD has sworn by the pride of Jacob:
"Surely I will never forget any of their works.

1 Corinthians 6:10 - nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners will inherit the kingdom of God.

James 4:1-3 - Where do wars and fights come from among you? Do they not come from your desires for pleasure that war in your members? You lust and do not have. You murder and covet and cannot obtain. You fight and war. Yet you do not have because you do not ask. You ask and do not receive, because you ask amiss, that you may spend it on your pleasures.

Romans 12:17-19 - Repay no one evil for evil. Have regard for good things in the sight of all men. If it is possible, as much as depends on you, live peaceably with all men. Beloved, do not avenge yourselves, but rather give place to wrath; for it is written, "Vengeance is Mine, I will repay," says the Lord.

Matthew 5:38-39 - You have heard that it was said, 'An eye for an eye and a tooth for a tooth.' But I tell you not to resist an evil person. But whoever slaps you on your right cheek, turn the other to him also.

Romans 13:1-4 - Let every soul be subject to the governing authorities. For there is no authority except from God, and the authorities that exist are appointed by God. Therefore whoever resists the authority resists the ordinance of God, and those who resist will bring judgment on themselves. For rulers are not a terror to good works, but to evil. Do you want to be unafraid of the authority? Do what is good, and you will have praise from the same. For he is God's minister to you for good. But if you do evil, be afraid; for he does not bear the sword in vain; for he is God's minister, an avenger to execute wrath on him who practices evil.

Titus 2:11-13 - For the grace of God that brings salvation has appeared to all men, teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly in the present age, looking for the blessed hope and glorious appearing of our great God and Savior Jesus Christ,

James 1:13-15 - Let no one say when he is tempted, "I am tempted by God"; for God cannot be tempted by evil, nor does He Himself tempt anyone. But each one is tempted when he is drawn away by his own desires and enticed. Then, when desire has conceived, it gives birth to sin; and sin, when it is full-grown, brings forth death.

Genesis 4:8-12 - Now Cain talked with Abel his brother; and it came to pass, when they were in the field, that Cain rose up against Abel his brother and killed him. Then the LORD said to Cain, 'Where is Abel your brother?' He said, 'I do not know. Am I my brother's keeper?' And He said, “What have you done? The voice of your brother’s blood cries out to Me from the ground. So now you are cursed from the earth, which has opened its mouth to receive your brother’s blood from your hand. When you till the ground, it shall no longer yield its strength to you. A fugitive and a vagabond you shall be on the earth.”

But whoever says, 'You fool!' shall be in danger of hell fire.
